University of Chicago Inaugurates Leadership Academy

The University of Chicago announced Thursday the first 28-member class in its Civic Leadership Academy, a new initiative aimed at helping leaders of local government agencies and non-profit groups to tackle tough urban problems.

The program, launched last September, also provides skills training to develop a pipeline of talented leaders to help nonprofits and government agencies thrive. The six-month program begins Jan. 29. Read the entire story....
